Please chack out The Newport Daily Express Article coming up

Hello everyone

I am being interviewed this weekend for the candidate forum in our local newspapers. Its been a hard week formulating a platform. I am very excited with what my team has come up with. I would really appreciate some feed back because after this article there will be a couple more. We will continue the progression of my platform with the feed back acquired by you!

I am off to help the American Legion with a poker run and then later tonight the Fire fighters raffle of a snow machine. Keep those ideas in mind. You all have contributed very nicely so far! Please send the ideas via email as it is easier for me to forward them to the whole think tank. Hope everyone is enjoying the nice weather out and see you at the Penguin Plunge!

Best,

Tim

Running a Campaign is hard work

So tonight i find myself work really hard on my campaign. Its important to make as many signs as possible. However, 2/3rds of my campaign staff are passed out sleeping. They are my psycho multiple personalitied cat (jimmy chew/pierre) and owen a.k.a. sloppy joe seem to think that we will sleep our way to victory! Thomas is working hard helping me design and paint my signs. I think this is alot of fun and I will always know i went into this a beginner and came out of it with a lot learned.

Yes, I was tasered!

Thomas masterfully captured my torture. In this video you can see the chief of police and Royce Lancaster taser me in front of the Ambulance staff. It never really dawned on me before he shot my back that this is going to hurt!

Lets just say the electrician in me made me curious, and being young and rambunctious made me fearless. Now, ive learned, NEVER AGAIN! HAHA.

Ok, off to work I go. Tonight we will be painting up campain signs and should have another post soon. As Dolly Parton says, I need to pour me a cup of ambition.. Thats right coffee time!

Peace

Tim

Update for Meg and Showing off Thomas' Mad Skills

Thursdays meeting was quite disastrous. Lets just start in saying that our Chair has no idea what Roberts Rules are. Our meetings this term simply get way out of control and nothing accomplished. I'm not going to let it get me down. I feel being a State Commissioner is worth the trouble. I'm learning, growing and helping my state accomplish Civil Rights.

Thomas worked really hard on my campaign sign. Hes being such a great guy in helping me out. I hope you all take time to look at the sign. Were going to plaster the City with it. Were also still working on the mailing list. PLEASE help in spreading the word!

Tim

Today was the day!

OK so how pathetic am I? Yes Im political and I did not see much of the inauguration. Thomas watched every minute of it so Im getting information updates. Lets just say hes being my little Anderson cooper.

I think we both agree that Michele still looks goofey. Its hard to explain. Its also good to say that George W Ding dong is out there. He may have kept us safer however he ruined the Republican image as well as tarnished Americas at the same time.

I hope things will get better, however I feel they wont. Our state is hurting which is hurting our City here in Newport. The 179 million spent on todays partys could have been very helpful to a small State like VT heck maybe it could have bailed out 10 states. Thats a lot of money!!!! Bush got crucified for spending only 46 million on his. COME ON CNN you claim to be unbias however you all act more stubborn then BUSH sometimes haha.

Anyway its great things are changing. Lets hope they change for the better. Im still scared to death of Biden. We couldnt have chosen a better poster child for credit cards taking advantage of people then him. Maybe now hes V.P. he dosnt have to bow down to the hundreds of Banks head quartered in Delaware!

All in all it was a good day from what I saw. Now its time for everyone to get back to work and Hope for the best.

Local Government Day in the Legislature

Adopt Updated Saftey Policy

Hope you all understand what my Monday nights are like now. Ok, ive got to go make some dinner and get some coffee in me before 7.

Sunday, January 18, 2009

So today I found myself writing a gagillion campaign support letters. My campaign managers Owyn and Pierre (my cat and dog) thought it be best that I get in touch with the voters of Newport.

I think my hand was about ready to fall off after the 50th letter written. Were really working hard here to bring desperately needed change to Newport.

If you have any ideas or email lists please be sure to share them. Ive always said we need a directory of email addresses. With 40 cents a pop for stamps emails would sure help out a lot!

Anyway I think its time to go cuddle up on the couch. Ive made a lot of progress this weekend and next week I will be working finalizing my professional, political endorsements.

Best,

Miss ya JOJO and MEG!

Why I chose to blog

Id like to first say that creating this blog is a very exciting step in my political career. I want this blog to be a place where those who have questions, concerns, and recommendations can be heard. The City Council is YOURS and we work for YOU! Please feel free to post as much as you feel comfortable with.

I'm really a nice guy so no need to be shy!

Best Wishes,

Tim
